Tamarron Torpedoes

The Tamarron Torpedoes Swim Team will award a $500 scholarship to at least one eligible applicant, who is in their final year of high school, and plans to attend an accredited two-year/four-year college or trade school.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of four seasons swimming and/or coaching with the Torpedoes.
• Applicants must have maintained an overall 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Applicants must be a current coach and/or swimmer for the Torpedoes.

What to Submit:

1. Your scholarship application.
2. An essay that explains what your time with Torpedoes has meant to you, how it has impacted your character, and what life lessons you have learned and how you will apply them going forward.
3. A description of the extracurricular activities you participated in during high school. Note any leadership roles within these activities.
4. A description of your community service. Please provide a list of service organizations you have participated in and what your roles have been.
5. A copy of your unofficial high school transcript.
6. Applicant Recommendation Form (please submit two)
